I am a big time clean freak! I always have been since I was little. The neighborhood moms would hire me to clean their houses and I happily accepted, haha!
Even with just Lemmon, my house was clean 95% of the time! And now that Honey is here, my time is spent doing a lot of other things, but my cleanliness is still high priority. So, I thought I would share with you all three things that I do to keep my home clean in a quick and easy way!
As soon as Lemmon and Honey are asleep, I quickly go through the house and pick up any toys and leftovers from the day. I don’t sweep or vacuum or even wipe things down. Just a quick clean up so in the morning I wake up to a clutter free home and if Lemmon starts making a mess, it’s not a mess on top of another mess.
2. Designate one day to do the deep cleaning
I vacuum and sweep and mop once a week. That way I don’t feel like I am constantly picking up and doing house work. I get it all done usually in the morning, so that way I have the rest of the day to spend with the girls.
3. Cascade Pure Essentials
I no longer have time to spend 20-30 minutes scrubbing dishes just to go into the dishwasher to be scrubbed again. With new Cascade pure essentials I am able to have Cascade do the rest of the work. I also am not nervous of what ingredients are being spread all over our dishes. Cascade Pure Essentials has a simplified formula infused with bio-based ingredients. I am able to spend less time at the sink scrubbing and more time playing with my girls.
